Adirondack model 304A shows outstanding use. The barrel has ball marks and seam impressions visible on the right and back barrel surfaces. Many of the seam impressions on the back barrel are deeply embedded and are rather well defined. The barrel also has significant flaking of the finish as well as numerous other dings and indentations of unknown origin, but several of these are likely shoe scuffs as a few light cleat marks are also present. The handle has a heavy coat of vintage pine tar applied to the upper handle and there is tremendous transfer to the lower handle. A 5-inch void in the tar pattern is the space where Murcer’s padded tape once was. Handle is cracked at the area just above the pad void. Knob is stamped with the model number (304A). Nothing is written on the barrel end.
