Louisville Slugger model R161 was used by Hal McRae with the Royals between 1980 and 1983. It shows outstanding use. Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the right, left, and back barrel surfaces. Grain swelling from repeated contact is significantly more prevalent on the left barrel as compared to the right barrel. The handle shows no pine tar or tape residue. It has an h-crack at the mid-handle approximately 13″ in length. Nothing is written on either end.
