Louisville Slugger model W234 was used by Dan Ford with the Baltimore Orioles in 1982 or 1983. The bat shows excellent use. Many ball marks and seam impressions are visible on the front, left, and back barrel surfaces. A few cleat marks are also present. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and it is cracked. It has been shaved for grip and a set of five tape rings have been applied a few inches below the center label. This style of tape ring application is photographically confirmed as being a trait of “Disco Dan’s”. Nothing is written on either end.
Dan Ford was a member of the 1983 Baltimore Orioles World Series team.
