Adirondack model BW27 was used by Jerry Mumphrey during the 1982 season as a member of the New York Yankees. The bat shows outstanding use. Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, and left barrel surfaces. The left barrel has some slight grain swelling from repeated contact. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and it is cracked. A padded grip wrap has been taped to the lower handle. The knob is stamped with the model number (BW27), batch code (121), and year code (2) for 1982. Weight notation (31) is present in blue pen and Mumphrey’s #22 is written in black marker. Nothing is written on the barrel end.
