SKU: jeis Category:

Louisville Slugger model K55 was used by Jim Eisenreich during the 1982 season as a member of the Minnesota Twins. The bat shows excellent use. Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the left barrel surface. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and it is cracked. The knob is marked with Jim’s #4 in black marker and the letters ENG are written in pen (meaning unknown).

Eisenreich would play parts of the 1982, 1983, and 1984 seasons before going on the voluntary retirement list while undergoing treatment for Tourette’s Syndrome. He was replaced on the Twins roster by Kirby Puckett.

His career picked up again in 1987 with the Kansas City Royals, where he remained until signing with the Phillies as a free agent in January of 1993. He finished up with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1998 at the age of 39, having collected over 1100 hits, 221 doubles, and almost 40 triples. His career average was .290.
