Late 1980s Worth model WC117 was used by Frank White with the Kansas City Royals. It shows tremendous use. Ball marks and seam impressions are visible on the right, left, and back barrel surfaces. Many of the seam marks are very well defined and are deeply embedded. Several cleat marks are also present. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper handle with some transfer to the lower handle. It is cracked just below the handle rings and it mostly lays flat, except for one thin strip. Knob markings include the stamped letters FW (his initials), length digit (5), and model number (WC117). His characteristic “smiley face” #20 is written in black marker. Nothing is written on the barrel end.
