Louisville Slugger model M110 was used in 2000 or 2001 as a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The bat shows outstanding use. Many ball marks and seam impressions are visible on the left barrel surface and there is grain swelling from repeated contact. Numerous cleat marks are also present on the left and back barrel surfaces. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and several cracks. In typical D-Backs fashion, the knob is marked with the model number (M110), length & weight (34.5 – 32), and Williams’ #9, all in black marker. His #9 is also written inside the cupped barrel end.
While I typically place his style of labeling (filled in MLB logo) to be from 2000, photographs confirm that Williams used this style bat in both 2000 and 2001. The Diamondbacks won the World Series against the New York Yankees in 2001.
