Russell Size 48 road vest was worn by pitcher Cory Lidle during the 2004 season with the Cincinnati Reds. Lidle was 7-10 for the Reds. He was traded to Philadelphia on August 9 and finished out the year with the Phillies. During his career, Lidle pitched for the Mets, Rays, Athletics, Blue Jays, Reds, Phillies, and Yankees.
The jersey shows nice use with curling and wrinkling to the wash tag in the tail, numerous loose threads, and a stain on back. Some puckering is present to the numbering and lettering.
Sadly, he was killed in a plane crash in New York City on October 11, 2006 while a member of the New York Yankees.
