Louisville Slugger model H238 was used by Francisco Liriano with the Pittsburgh Pirates during the 2014 season. The bat shows outstanding use with a handle crack.
Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, left, and back barrel surfaces. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and spiral handle tape wrap. The tape is significantly stained with pine tar. It is cracked in the upper handle. The knob is stamped with the date of production (02/10/14), and digits for the length & weight (34.0/31.5). Liriano’s #47 is written in black and there is an ‘X’ written over that. Could be to indicate that the bat was cracked. His #47 is also written inside the cupped barrel end.
