Description
BWP model MS22 M was used by Miguel Sano as a rookie with the Minnesota Twins during the 2015 season. The bat shows outstanding use with a handle crack with a piece missing.
Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, left, and back barrel surfaces. Several cleat marks are also present. The handle has a heavy coat of pine tar on the lower half of the handle and a missing piece approximately 7″ in length. The date of production (07-08-15) is stamped into the side of the knob. There are no other markings on either the knob or barrel end. Sano has autographed the sweet spot in silver and he added his #22.
Per MLB Hologram info, the bat was cracked on a single in the top of the 4th inning on August 26, 2015 in Tampa Bay against the Rays. The hologram number is HZ715051. Sano hit 5 homeruns over the span of the previous 8 games. It is possible this is a multi home run bat.
