Description
Original Jack Corbett Hollywood base was used on October 6, 2004 in Game 2 of the 2004 American League Division Series between the Boston Red Sox and the Anaheim Angels. Boston swept the series in three games and would go on to win the World Series by sweeping the St. Louis Cardinals. Their World Series Championship was the first time the Red Sox won it all since 1918.
Game 2 featured pitchers Pedro Martinez and Bartolo Colon. Vladimir Guerrero drove in two runs and Jason Varitek hit a home run with two outs to drive in two runs. The Red Sox won the game, 8-3.
The base shows nice wear and is MLB Authenticated (MT00398629). The MLB hologram is located on the underside of the base on the rubber. A hole has been drilled through the base and into one of the metal strips.
