Description
Rawlings Official Major League baseball was used at some point during the June 1, 2001 game between the Texas Rangers and the Seattle Mariners. The ball has been rubbed down for game use and shows nice wear. No MLB hologram is present and so the exact nature of the usage is unknown.
The ball is signed by Ichiro Suzuki on the sweet spot. Not the greatest signature unfortunately, but any artifact that dates to Ichiro’s first season in Major League baseball is a rarity. Ball is accompanied by a COA from Coast to Coast Sports signed by Jeff Johnson. A handwritten note on the back reveals that the ball was obtained by Jeff Johnson at Safeco Field on 6/1/01.
Ichiro is expected to be a first ballot inductee to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025.
