Louisville Slugger model H238 was used by Michael Cuddyer with the Minnesota Twins between 2002 and 2005. The bat shows outstanding use and is not cracked. Cuddyer has signed the sweet spot in gold with his #5. Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, left, and back barrel surfaces. There is significant grain swelling present on the left barrel surface with very minor separation. The handle has a light coat of pine tar on the upper portion of the handle with some accumulation on the lower handle that is stained from his batting gloves. Nothing is written on either end.
This bat is dated as 2002-05 as it appears Cuddyer had a signature model LS in 2006. Possibly rookie bat and definitely rookie era. Cuddyer finished his career a .277 hitter with 1,552 hits, 383 doubles, 197 HRs, and 794 RBI. He won his only batting title in 2013 with the Colorado Rockies.
