Description
Rawlings OAL Bobby Brown baseball was used during the Tigers at Yankees game on October 2, 1990. It was in the 9th inning that Righetti came in to pitch. He walked two and struck out one and thus earned his 36th Save of the season. That year, Righetti saved 36 out of 39 opportunities, which is the reason for the inscription.
Ball is signed on the sweet spot by Dave Righetti. A side panel is inscribed in black marker:
“36/39 – 10-2-90 – Yankee Stadium”
The two Dave Righetti baseballs I’m offering for sale were acquired from the same individual that had the two Paul O’Neill bats and the two Yankees World Series team signed baseballs.
