Description
Hillerich & Bradsby model M169 was used by Ron Fairly with the Los Angeles Dodgers during the 1964 season. The bat shows outstanding use and is not cracked. Many ball marks and seam impressions are visible on the right, left, and back barrel surfaces. Some grain swelling with minor separation is present on both the right and left barrel surfaces and there are several cleat marks present. The handle has been spiral taped for grip and it is not cracked. While the bat itself does not have any pine tar, the tape is stained from tar and use. The knob is stamped with the model number (M169) and Fairly’s #6 is written in black marker. Nothing is written on the barrel end.
