Description
Louisville Slugger model C271 was used by Curtis Goodwin with the Cincinnati Reds during the 1996 season. The bat shows outstanding use with a crack from the barrel into the center label. Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, left, and back barrel surfaces and there is some slight grain swelling and minor separation from repeated contact. The handle has a moderate to heavy coat of pine tar and it is cracked through the center label. The knob is marked with the model number (C271) and Goodwin’s #00. His number is also written on the barrel end in black, but it is significantly worn.
