Description
Louisville Slugger model B345 was used by Jeremy Giambi in 2001 or 2002 with the Oakland Athletics (and also likely during some of his time in the minors). The bat shows excellent use with a handle crack. Many ball marks, light seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the right, left, and back barrel surfaces. There are three different colors of ink transfers present, which lead me to believe that most likely the bat was used during one of Giambi’s minor league stints in 2001 with Sacramento (or 2002 as a carryover to the Red Sox/Pawtuckett). The handle has a heavy coat of pine tar on the lower portion with some application to the upper handle has well. It is cracked at the mid-handle area. The crack runs approximately 12″ in length and runs up to the center label. Giambi’s #7 is written on the knob in black marker. Nothing is written on the barrel end.
