Louisville Slugger model H238 was used by Joe Oliver during his partial season with the Yankees in 2001. Oliver appeared in 12 games for the Bronx Bombers that year before being released in June and later signing with the Red Sox to finish out his career. The bat shows outstanding use and is not cracked. Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, left, and back barrel surfaces. A few cleat marks are also present. The handle has only traces of pine tar and is not cracked. Nothing is written on either end. A Steiner hologram is present on the front of the barrel. No accompanying Steiner LOA.
