Hillerich & Bradsby model K55 was used by Rex Hudler at the very beginning of his professional career either with the Oneonta Yankees or the Ft. Lauderdale Yankees in 1978 or 1979. Hudler was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 1st Round of the 1978 draft. The bat shows light use and is not cracked.
A few ball marks and very light seam impressions are visible on the front and left barrel surfaces. There are several areas of finish loss on the barrel. No visible pine tar or tape residue. There is a 4-inch long patch on the mid-handle area that appears to have been scored for grip. Some finish loss. Not cracked. Nothing is written on the knob or barrel end.
