Louisville Slugger model S413 was used by Eric Sogard with the Oakland Athletics in 11 games between May 16th and May 31st, 2015. The bat shows outstanding use with a back barrel crack as as areas of grain separation from repeated contact. Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, left, and back barrel surfaces. Grain swelling and separation are present on the right and left barrel surfaces. A few cleat scuffs are also present.
The handle has a light to moderate coat of pine tar applied just below the center label with transfer to the lower handle. It is not cracked.
The knob has typical Louisville Slugger production information including the date of production (04/22/15) and length/weight digits (33.25/30.5). Nothing else is visibly marked on either the knob or barrel end.
**Sogard matches are not completed. Unfortunately I only have the screen shots to add for now. This bat has enough photo matches to warrant creation of an eLOA flip book.
