Description
This New Era size 7 1/4 hat was worn by Eddie Taubensee with the Cincinnati Reds during the 1995 season. The hat shows nice wear with minor staining throughout the sweatband. Slight staining is present to the underside of the brim. The embroidered C on the front of the hat shows definite discoloration. Taubensee’s #10 is written in black on the underside of the brim and he has also penned a shoutout to his children as he has written “Justin & ?” in black marker. Perhaps the question mark signals that Taubensee had another child on the way. The number 8 is written on the back of the hat in black marker. Unfortunately I don’t have any idea what this number represents.
Taubensee has signed the top of the brim in black sharpie and he added his #10.
This hat is accompanied by a letter from the Cincinnati Reds Gift Shop attesting that it was worn by Eddie Taubensee during the 1995 season.
