Old Hickory model NW1 was used by Neil Walker with the Miami Marlins in September of 2019. The bat shows excellent use with a handle crack. Many ball marks, light seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, left, and back barrel surfaces. Numerous cleat scuffs are also present. The handle has a heavy coat of pine tar and a significant crack with a piece missing approximately 6″ in length by 1/4″ wide. The missing piece does not show when displayed as it is on the backside of the handle. Pine tar is applied to the upper handle. Nothing is written on either the knob or barrel end.
The bat is MLB Authenticated (VS017092). It was cracked on 9/29/19 in the top of the 6th inning against the Phillies. The bat was used for his final two career home runs (#148 & #149).
