Max Bat model WM4-2 was used by Wil Myers during the 2019 season with the San Diego Padres. The bat shows outstanding use with a handle crack. Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, left, and back barrel surfaces. The handle has a slightly displaced crack at the mid-handle portion. The lower handle is wrapped with an American flag print lizard skin wrap that is secured at the top and bottom with athletic tape. The only real pine tar present is on the tape wrap. Tape also extends over most of the knob and Myers’ #4 decal on the knob is mostly covered. The barrel end has his #4, the model number (WM4-2), and the weight (32.4) in ounces.
The bat is MLB Authenticated (JD841337). It was cracked on September 8, 2019 in the bottom of the 2nd inning.
The bat was used in six games in early September of 2019. It was used for eight hits including 2 home runs (career HRs 112 & 113). It is photo matched to both home runs. The 2nd of which was capture in a stunning image of the bat in mid-air after a bat flip upon hitting his 113th career home run.
