Description
Louisville Slugger model S2 was used by Joel Skinner with the Chicago White Sox during the 1985 season. The bat shows outstanding use and is not cracked.
Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, left, and back barrel surfaces. There is grain swelling on both the right and left barrel surfaces from repeated contact and there is slight separation on the back barrel. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and is not cracked. The lower portion of the handle appears to have had a spiral tape application removed at some point as there are voids in the tar that was present. The knob has Skinner’s #22 written in black marker. Nothing is written on the barrel end.
