Description

Louisville Slugger model B425 was used by Leody Taveras with the Texas Rangers during their 2023 World Series Championship season. The bat shows tremendous use with a slight handle crack.

Many ball marks, seam impressions, and ink transfers are visible on the front, right, left, and back barrel surfaces.

The handle has a light to moderate coat of pine tar and a slight crack approximately 2 1/2-inches in length just below the center label. The lower portion of the handle has been wrapped in red, white, and grey Lizard Skin that covers 12-inches of the handle and the sides of the knob.

The knob is stamped with the date of production 05/15/23, wood type (MLB MAPLE), and the length & weight (33.75/31.0). Nothing is written on the barrel end.

The bat is specifically photo matched to June 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, and 12th. On June 9th, Taveras had his first career 2-home run game against the Tampa Bay Rays. The home runs were the 16th and 17th round trippers of his career. It appears the bat was cracked in the 8th inning on June 12th, 2023.
